Ekseption Ferulic Activator Night Care Cream is intended for those seeking gradual refinement of skin texture and a reduction in the appearance of hyperpigmentation and uneven spots, while also providing antioxidant support. The formula combines three potent acids—lactic acid, ferulic acid, and tranexamic acid—with enzymatic exfoliation from Bacillus Ferment and peptides including nonapeptide-1, palmitoyl tripeptide-1, hexapeptide-12, and acetyl hexapeptide-51 amide, in addition to tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E).
The light water-in-oil texture does not leave a heavy, greasy film, making it especially suitable for normal, combination, and oily skin. The product acts as a nighttime "activator" that prepares the skin for professional peeling sessions or can be used at home for short renewal cycles (around three weeks) until the skin's surface appears smoother and tone is more balanced. The brand states it has a fragrance with notes of rose and roasted mocha coffee—it is not a fragrance-free formula.
It does not contain retinoids; however, the acids and nighttime exfoliation require gradual introduction and broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning. Avoid the eye contour, and do not combine it on the same night with strong acids or retinol if your skin is sensitive or you are a beginner.
How to Use:
- Evening only: Cleanse face thoroughly (and tone if applicable), then allow to dry slightly.
- Dispense a small amount of cream onto the face and neck, gently massaging in upward circular motions, completely avoiding the eye area.
- For an intensive program: Use nightly for up to three weeks, or start on alternate nights if your skin is sensitive.
- Morning: Broad-spectrum sunscreen is an essential final step throughout and after the period of use.
