Description:
One of The Ordinary's strongest at-home peels: a blend of alpha hydroxy acids (including glycolic and lactic) with beta-salicylic acid to quickly reveal a surface layer and clearer, brighter appearance after rinsing. Not for daily use, or for irritated, broken skin, or after recent procedures.
The common maximum recommended by the brand is about ten minutes, followed by thorough rinsing. Temporary redness is expected. No retinol here; however, medical caution is preferred during pregnancy with any strong peel.
How to use:
- In the evening, on clean and completely dry skin, apply a layer, avoiding the eye area, lips, and open wounds.
- Leave on for a maximum of ten minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
- Moisturize generously.
- Do not repeat for several days, and do not use with retinol or another exfoliant on the same night.
- In the morning—and on subsequent days—use strict sun protection.
